The Powerstar, is the heart of our solar & battery backup systems. It converts the DC power created from solar PV and stored in the batteries to AC power for your applications.

Batteries store additional solar energy produced from solar PV, to be used at night or during a utility outage, ensuring your electricity supply remains reliable and consistent.
FreedomWon Lithium Ion batteries use only the highest quality LiFePO4 cells with integrated BMS, housed in a powder coated aluminum casing.
Installation and materials:
MLT takes pride in the neatness and quality of our installations. All our installations comply to the relevant SANS wiring codes.
All sites are installed with our:
- Solar disconnect box: Solar strings and battery protection.
- LV disconnect box: Battery protection and precharge for safe system startup.
- AC bypass box: AC protection and manual system bypass switch.
Only MLT approved and certified electrical installers are used.

The MSC (Microgrid Control System) is one central system that enables clients to control and monitor all devices within their Power Plant.
Monitoring, control and integration of the Grid, loads, Solar Inverters, Battery Inverters, Lithium Batteries and diesel generators.
Some South African municipalities now require DNP3 (Distributed Network Protocol 3) control of larger plants. The MSC handles this translation and integration.
